CompuStaff Acquired by Aplin to Enhance IT Recruitment Services

Toronto, ON – September 14, 2021 – CompuStaff has announced today that it has been acquired by Aplin, a well-renowned national full-services staffing firm founded in 1975. The acquisition will deepen Aplin’s specialized recruiting capabilities in the growing IT sector and expand CompuStaff’s presence in new markets.

The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Founded in 1975, Aplin, formerly David Aplin Group, provides recruiting and talent acquisition solutions in a variety of industries and was recently named a 2021 platinum club winner of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. With the acceleration of the demand for qualified technology and IT talent, CompuStaff will bolster David Aplin Group’s recruitment solutions expertise and relationships to meet the growing labour needs of this pivotal sector. The businesses are expected to integrate over the next 6-9 months. CompuStaff was advised on the transaction by Momentum Advisory Partners.
